Health & Safety Management is a core service provided by Amber Housing in the homes and properties we own and manage on behalf of others.
Specialist Partners
We contract a range of specialist partners to deliver our extensive annual safety assurance programmes which include:
- Landlord’s annual gas safety inspections and servicing of gas appliances
- Electrical safety testing every 5 years
- Portable appliance inspection and testing
- Lifting equipment (assisted baths, mobile hoists, ceiling tracking, passenger, step & platform lifts, nursing beds) testing and inspection
- Carry out fire risk assessments and communicate the key findings to you
- Fire safety installations, fire alarm panels, extinguishers, emergency lighting, lightning protection, detectors, fire doors, lightening conductors etc
- Regularly inspect and service fire doors to ensure they are in good condition
- Water safety (legionella prevention)
- Carry out fire drills in properties where this is appropriate
- Regularly check your home to ensure you are safe and that any issues are reported and dealt with
- Carry out audits against national standards
